Rules and Regulations for the Festival
Festival rules and
regulations to be posted at all entrances to the festival:
1. No Alcohol
2. No Pets
3. No outside golf carts (Only carts with festival personnel are aloud on the grounds.
4. Soliciting, Passing Out Handbills, Flyers, Brochures, Or Other Forms Of Advertising Is Prohibited
5. Canvassing The Festival Grounds For a Charitable Purpose Is Prohibited
6. Destruction Or Defacing Of Property Is Prohibited, And Violators Will Be Prosecuted
7. Violations Of Any Of The Above Rules Are Grounds To Have The Violators Removed From The Festival Site
8. The Piqua Heritage Festival, Inc., Festival Committee, The Piqua Historical Area, The Ohio Historical Society, And/Or The City Of Piqua Are Not Liable For Damages To Person, Property, And/Or Any Theft

Piqua Heritage Festival Encampment Rules
1. All camps must maintain a pre-1870’s time period. All modern items must be kept out of sight.
2. Camp sites are available on a first come-first serve basis. Spaces cannot be saved, 2 adults + children
per camp site, Extra adults $5.00 each. ( Extra adult and extra tent equals EXTRA camp site fee )
3. Participants will sell NO food or beverages.
4. Trade blankets for campers – up to 72” x 90” four point area and under $1000.00 total value. Anything
larger will be considered a vendor and must pay vendor fees. The Trade Committee will approve all
saleable items.
5. All campers and vendors must display your “paid camp flag/ribbon” in a visible place.
6. Parents or guardians are responsible for children at all times and children must be accompanied by an
adult when using the competition ranges/areas.
7. Campers are responsible for all visitors at their campsite.
8. This is a family camp. Common sense and courtesy of your fellow campers should be used.
PLEASE, NO PROFANE LANGUAGE.
9. No loaded weapons allowed in camp.
10. No propane or portable generators in camp.
11. NO PETS ARE ALLOWED.
12. Period clothing must be worn by campers. After 6 p.m. guests must be in dress or they will be asked
to leave.
13. Leggings must be worn with breach cloths outside of the Encampment.
14. No vehicles allowed in camp after Friday, September 2nd.
15. No tear down before 4 p.m. Monday, September 5th.
16. No tear down before 5 p.m. Monday, September 5th. in the trade ( south ) Camp
